Included in the Connection Practice Tour
- All transportation except to and from airport

- Lodging for 6 nights at Quizur and 2 nights at a hotel with hot springs at Arenal Volcano

- Your Connection Practice Boards with demonstration videos
- Materials and resources for the courses
- CP Coaches or Trainers will have the opportunity to improve their Connection Practice skill.
- After completing these 2 courses, you are eligible to apply for the online Coach Certification Course

Tour Itinerary
Arrive in San José and travel to Quizur by taxi, where you’ll settle in and meet your fellow participants. Enjoy an enriching dinner and orientation led by Rita Marie Johnson, the visionary behind the Connection Practice and Executive Director of Rasur Foundation International.
Join your group on an awe-inspiring excursion to La Paz Waterfall Gardens, where you’ll be captivated by cascading waterfalls and vibrant wildlife. Indulge in a delightful buffet lunch before returning to Quizur for dinner and camaraderie with your newfound friends.
Immerse yourself in the Inner Wellness for Success course or lend your expertise if you’re already familiar with the CP at Rasur Foundation International Headquarters. Discover the transformative power of empathy and insight. Enjoy lunch and dinner together at Quizur.
Embark on a cultural journey to Cartago, where you’ll explore the historic La Basilica de Los Ángeles before indulging in a delicious lunch at il Guardino. Dive into Costa Rica’s rich heritage at the National Museum before returning to Quizur for dinner.
Embark on a journey to La Fortuna by bus, where you’ll enjoy lunch at Choza de Laureles followed by shopping and relaxation at a hotel boasting hot springs and stunning views of the Arenal Volcano. Gather for dinner and share stories of the day’s adventures with your fellow travelers.
Indulge in optional activities such as canopy zip-lining, hanging bridge tour, horseback riding, hiking or sloth tour and exciting explorations on your own. Gather again for dinner and another night’s stay at the hotel.
Experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of Café Britt with an entertaining tour of an organic fair trade coffee plantation, paired with a sumptuous lunch. Dine with an influential Costa Rican back at Quizur in the evening.
Delve into the skill of Emotionally-Safe Relationships, empowering yourself to create lasting connections wherever you go. Conclude the tour with a celebratory dinner at Quizur.

Meet your Tour Guides
Rita Marie Johnson has lived off and on in Costa Rica for almost 30 years. She created the Connection Practice, which won the Ashoka Changemaker’s Innovation Award: Building a More Ethical Society, chosen from 32 projects in 79 countries. She is the author of Completely Connected: Uniting Our Empathy and Insight for Extraordinary Results, an Amazon Bestseller and Nautilus Award Winner in Psychology. Read more about Rita Marie here.
Ricardo Balderas was born in Mexico and grew up in San Jose, CA where he met Rita Marie and they married in 2019. Ricardo received his Ed.D in Multicultural Education. He served as a bilingual, elementary school principal in Bay Area schools for over 30 years. He published a children’s book, The Dragon that Wanted To Play in the Snow. His bilingual ability and love of history, philosophy and beauty make him an excellent guide in Costa Rica.
Through the Connection Practice, he and Rita Marie have created a deep foundation of emotional safety in their marriage that frees them to serve others at the highest level.
Tour Cost
Airfare is not included; there is a maximum of 12 people on the tour.

A deposit of $1,000 is required to reserve your tour. Remainder balance due 30 days prior to arrival day.
There are no visa or vaccination requirements for US and Canadian citizens.

Quizur is ideally located for seeing all but the most remote locations in Costa Rica. In addition, you are immersed in nature while being within 25 minutes of the airport, the best hospital, and an impressive shopping mall. There is so much to do and see. At Quizur you can:
